About marracash Persona poster
This poster is built around Marracash and his album Persona, presented the way a record sleeve would be: a stripped-back, monochrome layout in black, white and grey. The centrepiece is a large, deliberately blurred close-up of a serious man's face, and over it stands the dark silhouette of a child with one hand raised. The contrast between the soft, out-of-focus portrait and the sharp cut-out figure gives the artwork a quiet tension that holds your eye.
Underneath, the design stays true to the album format, with the full track list, the name Marracash, Persona, a row of grey colour swatches, the RAP/HIP-HOP label, a cursive signature, and the release date and length. It rewards a closer look once you are near the wall.
Start with A4 or A3 for a desk, shelf or narrow corner, move up to A2 for above a sofa or bed, and choose A1 when you want a true feature wall. Pick no frame, a black frame or a white chrome frame, depending on how crisp you want the edges to feel.
Which size should I choose for my room or wall?
The A1 and A2 sizes make a bold statement above a sofa or bed, where the blurred close-up of Marracash's face can dominate the space. The A3 and A4 sizes suit a hallway, study or small wall where the dark silhouette of the child still reads clearly without overwhelming the room.
Does a frame change how the poster looks?
Without a frame, the monochrome black, white and grey composition feels raw and editorial, closer to the feel of a printed record sleeve. A black frame deepens the shadows and sharpens the contrast, while a white chrome frame lightens the edges and gives the album-style layout a cleaner, gallery-like finish.
What is the paper and print quality like?
The poster is printed on 200gsm paper, which feels substantial in the hand and holds fine detail well. The grey colour swatches, the cursive signature and the small list of title, genre and release details stay crisp, while the soft focus of the central portrait keeps its smooth, moody gradient.
How should I care for it and hang it?
Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from damp walls, bathrooms and direct sunlight, which can fade the black and white over time. Hang it at eye level, roughly at the height of the centre of the artwork, so the portrait sits comfortably in the room.
