Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga by Ken Wakui that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in March 2017 and concluded in November 2022. The story centers on Takemichi Hanagaki, who discovers he can time travel, and follows his efforts to navigate Tokyo's delinquent gang conflicts, especially the Toman and Tenjiku arcs. The manga had over 80 million copies in circulation by June 2024, cementing its place as one of the most popular shonen series of the 2020s. The anime adaptation by Liden Films premiered in April 2021, with the first season airing from April to September 2021.
The franchise has continued to expand with multiple anime seasons: the second season aired from January to April 2023, the third season ran from October to December 2023, and a fourth season titled War of the Three Titans Arc is scheduled for October 2026. In January 2026, the English dub was announced for U.S. broadcast TV on Adult Swim's Toonami block. The 2026 fourth season is tied to the final major arc of the anime adaptation. The franchise also includes spin-off manga such as A Letter from Keisuke Baji, and in 2024, a mini anime began streaming on the series' official YouTube channel.
