We have a 15-day return and refund policy starting from the date of receipt of your order, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return or refund.
1. Return Conditions:
To be eligible for a return, the products must meet the following criteria:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and returned in their original packaging.
- Any product that is damaged, used, or does not meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.
If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without a prior return request will not be accepted.
Returns must be sent via registered mail to our return address. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or there was an error in the order.
As all posters are made-to-order and on demand, a handling fee is applied in case of a return. We charge a 10% recycling fee on all returned items.
2. Refund Conditions:
To be eligible for a refund, the products must meet the following criteria:
- The item you received is not what was ordered.
- The product received is damaged.
- Any product that is damaged by the customer, used, or does not meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.
When requesting a refund, it is essential to provide the contact details used for the order, the order number, and a photo showing that the products are non-compliant and/or defective. You can send your refund request to the following email address: hello@postersbase.com. All refund requests will be reviewed within 10 days.
Once the refund is accepted, it will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Initial shipping fees are not refundable unless the return involves a defective or non-compliant product. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return approval, please contact us at hello@postersbase.com.
2.1 Clause on Banking Fees in Case of Order Cancellation
If an order is canceled immediately after being placed, before any processing or shipment by our services, a fixed banking fee of €4.95 will be deducted from the refund.
This fee corresponds to transaction costs charged by our payment provider and is non-refundable.
Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing to hello@postersbase.com as soon as possible. If the order has already been processed or shipped, the standard return and refund conditions will apply.
3. Damages and Issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it.
If the product is defective or the wrong product was delivered, you may choose:
- Reshipment of your order.
- A refund for the damaged product.
4. Exceptions / Non-returnable items:
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
5. Exchanges:
Since each order is custom-made, we do not offer an exchange service.
6. Delivery Failure or Return to Sender:
Make sure that your name and shipping address are COMPLETE and ACCURATE when placing your order. Please also include phone numbers with your order to facilitate delivery. As all orders are printed on demand for customers, we do not refund orders returned due to delivery failure or return to sender. In such cases, you will need to contact the PostersBase team to arrange a new delivery at the customer's expense.
7. Right of Withdrawal:
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (for UK customers), you have 14 days from the receipt of the products to exercise your right of withdrawal, except for the products mentioned in the exclusions below.
Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal: The following items are not eligible for the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned:
- Custom or made-to-order products: Any product made according to your specifications or clearly personalized.
- Discounted or sale products: Items purchased at a reduced price cannot be refunded unless defective.
