Rap FR Posters, Printed for the Culture

Rap francais grew from a handful of dark, uncompromising records into the biggest-selling music in France, and this collection puts that whole story on your wall. Our Rap FR range gathers 32 designs pulled from the albums, mixtapes and eras that built French hip-hop, from the Lunatic-era classics that set the tone to the drill and melodic waves ruling the charts today. Every print is produced on museum-grade 200gsm matte stock and offered from A4 up to poster-sized A1, framed in black or chrome white or shipped unframed. Whether you have followed Booba since Temps Mort or you found the scene through Ninho and Gazo, there is a piece here for your room, your studio or your gift list. Because the full range runs on Buy 2 Get 1 Free, filling a wall with your favourite album covers costs less than you would expect.

Below is a guide to the artists and eras collectors reach for most, grouped by scene rather than by one person's biography. Everything we reference is a real product in this collection, so you can click straight through to the print you want.

Booba and the 92i blueprint

No name shaped modern rap francais like Booba. He first made his mark in the duo Lunatic alongside Ali, whose 2000 album Mauvais Oeil is still treated as sacred text, and their partnership lives on here as the Lunatic print. Booba's solo debut Temps Mort arrived on 22 January 2002 through his own label 45 Scientifique, sold around 100,000 copies and earned a place near the top of every French rap ranking. From there the run only grew: the 2004 second album Panthéon, the 2006 breakthrough Ouest Side with its street anthem Boulbi, then the later heavyweight records 0.9, Futur and its Futur 2.0 deluxe, Nero Nemesis, Trône, DUC, Autopsie 0, Ad Vitam Aeternam and the platinum 2021 album Ultra. Line a few of these up and you have a timeline of the genre itself.

PLK and the new Paris wave

If Booba drew the map, a younger Paris generation redrew it for the streaming age, and few have done it as consistently as PLK. He took the name Polak in a nod to his Polish roots, and his 2018 debut album Polak went platinum. The 2019 follow-up Mental became his highest-charting record to that point, and 2020's Enna went on to earn a diamond certification from the SNEP, joined here by its Enna Boost reissue. The collection also carries the darker Ténébreux, the Platinum print, and all three chapters of his 2024 mixtape saga, Chambre 140 Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. It is one of the deepest single-artist runs in the whole range.

The drill FR breakthrough

French drill exploded at the start of the decade, and this collection captures the two names most people credit for it. Gazo put the sound on the map with his 2021 project Drill FR, a fifteen-track statement that made the genre mainstream almost overnight. From the Parisian side, Ziak released his debut album Akimbo on 12 November 2021 with only a single guest feature and still went gold, and its companion Chrome print sits right beside it. Together they mark the moment drill stopped being a niche and became the sound of a generation.

Marseille, melody and the new school

Beyond Paris, the scene spread out in every direction. From Marseille, Jul became the best-selling artist in the history of French rap, the first to pass ten million albums, and his L'Ovni persona is one of the most recognisable in the country. His fellow Marseillais SCH turned cinema into rap with the 2018 mafioso concept album JVLIVS, certified triple platinum and released with its own short film. The melodic new school is here too: Tiakola, whose 2022 debut Mélo followed his years in the group 4Keus, the Belgian craftsman Damso with the chart-topping QALF, and the technical stylists Josman and Koba LaD. It is a snapshot of just how wide rap francais has grown.

Sizes, frames and building a rap wall

Every design ships in A4, A3, A2 and A1. A4 and A3 suit a desk, a shelf or a tight bedroom grid, while A2 and A1 work as a single statement piece above a bed or a sofa. Choose black framing for the darker album art, chrome white to lift brighter covers, or unframed for the flexible, lower-cost route. All prints use museum-grade 200gsm matte stock for deep colour and a glare-free finish that lasts for years. The easiest gallery to start is a three-poster trio: one Booba classic, one PLK or drill record and one melodic favourite, kept to a single frame colour and a repeated A3 size for a clean grid. Thanks to Buy 2 Get 1 Free, that third print is on the house, which makes a proper rap francais wall the best-value corner of the shop.

Start Your Rap FR Wall

From the 2002 debut of Temps Mort to the drill breakthrough of Gazo and the diamond-selling Enna, this collection covers the albums, mixtapes and eras that built rap francais. Every poster is printed on museum-grade 200gsm matte stock, available from A4 to A1, and offered framed in black or chrome white or unframed for your own setup.

Not sure where to begin? The safest first buy is a trio: a Booba classic like Ouest Side, a new-wave anthem like PLK Polak, and a melodic favourite such as SCH JVLIVS. Thanks to Buy 2 Get 1 Free, that third poster is on the house, which makes a full rap wall the best value in the shop. Pick your classics, choose your size and frame, and let your wall show exactly which era of the culture you rep.
