01The Ruthless Voice of Compton
Lorenzo Jerald Patterson, known worldwide as MC Ren, stands as one of the most uncompromising voices in West Coast hip-hop history. As a core member of N.W.A and a platinum-selling solo artist, the Compton-born rapper, songwriter, and producer helped define gangsta rap's raw intensity and unflinching honesty. From his contributions to the era-defining Straight Outta Compton to his own gold-certified solo masterpiece Shock of the Hour, MC Ren carved out a legacy built on fierce independence and unshakeable authenticity. After founding Villain Entertainment in 1999, he continued to release uncompromising work on his own terms, proving that artistry and autonomy could coexist in an industry that often demands compromise.
02A Collection Inspired by the Villain
This collection brings together five museum-grade art prints inspired by MC Ren's most significant solo works. Each design captures the spirit of an artist who refused to soften his message or dilute his vision. MC Ren - Osiris celebrates his later independent-era work, a testament to his enduring creative drive. MC Ren - Renincarnated channels the raw energy that has defined his entire career. MC Ren - Ruthless For Life honours his unbreakable connection to the Ruthless Records foundation that launched him while still in high school. MC Ren - The Villain In Black embodies the menacing persona that became his signature, while MC Ren - Shock Of The Hour pays tribute to the album that debuted at number one on the R&B charts and proved his solo star power. Printed on 200gsm matte museum-grade paper, these five designs offer fans and collectors a way to celebrate an artist who never bent to trends or expectations.
