Muse never did anything by halves, and their album covers are as ambitious as the music. Led by Matt Bellamy, the English band turned each record into a concept — dystopias, space, revolution — and the sleeves carry that scale, often cinematic and strange. This collection reproduces those covers as prints, each produced to order on 200 gsm matte paper, in sizes from A4 to A1, framed or unframed, so the imagery reads at the size it was built for.
The run opens with Showbiz (1999), the debut, and arrives quickly at Origin of Symmetry (2001), the record that announced the band's widescreen ambition. The two covers mark the leap from promising newcomer to a band with its own universe, and as a pair they tell that story at a glance. Printed large on matte stock, their colour holds its depth rather than glossing over under a lamp.
Black Holes and Revelations (2006) is the centre of the collection — the operatic, sci-fi record that made Muse a stadium act, its cover one of the most recognisable of the 2000s. As a single large print it carries a wall with real drama, and at A1 the composition fills the space. This is the sleeve most fans reach for first, and it anchors a wall of the discography.
The middle of the catalogue leans fully into concept. The Resistance (2009) is the symphonic, dystopian peak; The 2nd Law (2012) pushes into electronics and spectacle. Their covers are among the most conceptual in the collection, and hung together they show a band using the album sleeve as part of the world-building, not just a label.
The later records keep the ambition going. Drones (2015) is the stark, militaristic concept album; Will of the People (2022) gathers the band's modes into one defiant record. Alongside the Live at Rome Olympic Stadium release, these round out the hub into a fuller portrait — the covers for a listener who followed Muse from the clubs to the biggest stages. Grouped with Black Holes and Revelations, they span the whole arc.
What ties the Muse prints together is a cinematic, concept-driven design sense — bold imagery, dramatic colour, covers built as complete worlds.
