Montell Fish is the stage name of James Frazier, an American singer-songwriter and producer born October 19, 1997, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began self-releasing music in 2015 under his Lord's Child imprint, initially working within gospel and CCM before evolving into alternative R&B, neo soul, and bedroom pop. His lo-fi, faith-inflected aesthetic gained widespread attention in 2021 with breakthrough tracks "Talk 2 Me" and "Fall in Love With You," and he has since built a devoted following for his vulnerable, introspective sound. Notable releases include Bedroom Gospel (2017), Her Love Still Haunts Me Like a Ghost (2022), and his debut studio album JAMIE (2022), followed by Charlotte in 2024 and Aeon the same year.
Montell Fish continues to release new material into 2025, including Days Are Getting Shorter and FREESTYLE 01/GRAMMY, cementing his place as a distinctive voice in contemporary R&B. His catalog spans intimate bedroom recordings, soul-searching ballads, and gospel-tinged explorations, each project reflecting his Pittsburgh roots and spiritual curiosity. Our Montell Fish poster collection captures the album artwork and visual identity that accompany his discography, offering fans a way to bring the warmth and emotion of his music into their own spaces.
