About M83 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' Poster
If you have ever let a M83 record play through to the last track while the room slowly went dark around you, this poster speaks your language. It dresses "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" in a layout that feels more like a keepsake than a plain cover, made for the listener who likes to see an album as an object as well as a sound.
The palette stays in warm amber, orange and rust. A staged photograph shows two young people on a quilted bed in a retro yellow bedroom, one of them wrapped in a shaggy brown fur costume. The band name and album title sit above the picture, while the tracklist, colour swatches, release details and signature run along the bottom, giving the whole sheet the calm, ordered look of a record sleeve. It suits a bedroom wall, a listening corner beside the turntable or a hallway that needs a glow of colour.
Start with A4 or A3 for a shelf or a narrow gap, move to A2 above a desk or sofa, and choose A1 when you want a feature wall. Choose no frame, a black frame or a white chrome frame to match your room.
How does this poster look next to other pieces from the same collection?
It works well alongside other Albums Posters in the same collection, since the warm amber, orange and rust palette ties neighbours together. Hang it with a similar frame finish so the glowing retro bedroom scene reads as part of one considered wall of album art.
Which size suits my room or wall?
The A1 size makes a strong focal point above a sofa or bed, while A2 and A3 suit a hallway or a desk area. A4 fits a shelf, a gallery corner or a small wall where the stylised tracklist and signature remain legible at close range.
What does choosing a frame change visually?
Going unframed keeps the poster loose and graphic, letting the amber tones and minimalist layout stand on their own. A black frame adds weight and sharpens the edges, while a white chrome frame feels lighter and brighter against a dark or neutral room.
What should I know about the paper and print quality?
The poster is printed on 200gsm paper, which gives it a sturdy feel that suits its layered warm colours. The fur-costumed figure, the quilted bed and the colour swatches stay crisp, and the small release details read cleanly when viewed up close.
